The Sony BDP-S1700 has a high quality audio through 7.1 channel high definition sound bitstream. Our Sony BDP-S1700 hardware modified multi/region free Blu-ray player is also guaranteed to work with any future firmware updates from Sony. It features a perfect real time PAL to NTSC conversion which enables you to watch PAL DVDs on US TVs without any external video converter.
